Thermaltake

RGB can easily be said to be a big theme of Computex, but Thermaltake took it to a new level.

In recent years, Thermaltake has moved into the DIY water-cooling scene, and at this year's Computex it merged this experience with its passion for RGB. The Pacific RL360 Plus RGB Radiator is set to be released in early July and sports 12 addressable LED sets (two per set) in its side-facing LED strips. The Pacific W4 Plus CPU water block was also shown off, and this features its own set of 12 individually addressable LEDs. It's also designed to fit all modern CPU sockets.

Also announced was the new series of Floe Riing RGB TT Premium Edition all-in-one liquid coolers. Sporting the latest version of Thermaltake's Riing Plus RGB high static pressure fans, the family has three SKUs that vary based on radiator size: 240mm ($154.99 MSRP), 280mm ($159.99), and 360mm ($199.99). We're looking at a mid-July release date for these. As you might have guessed, multiple addressable LEDs are included on both the water block and the fans (six on the block, 12 per fan), and you can set and synchronise them to all manner of effects.

We saw too a new gaming chair set to be released under the Tt eSports brand for $499 or less very soon. You may wonder why it has a cable coming out of it, and the answer, surprisingly, has nothing to do with RGB. Instead, the chair has a set of four fans installed beneath the seat to keep your butt and legs cool. There's also plenty of physical adjustments that can be made to keep you comfortable.

In terms of cases, Thermaltake showed off the new View 91 and View 71, which are bulky full-tower cases (bigger number means bigger case) with a focus on tempered glass and giving you a good view of your hardware. The View 71 was the company's main focus, and it sports a whopping four tempered glass panels. It's been kitted out in the photos with all manner of RGB goodness, but in reality it will ship with two 140mm Riing Blue LED fans. It has seven tool-free drive mounts, dust filters all around, and high-end GPU and water-cooling support. Pricing is not confirmed, and Thermaltake is looking at a Q3 or Q4 release date.

The Core family of chassis was also on display, including the Core P1 (mini-ITX) and Core P3 Tempered Glass Curve, which were both announced at CES. The former should be out fairly soon for $99, supports TV wall mounting, and comes with a PCI-E riser cable as standard. Thermaltake is still working on perfecting the 90° curve on the latter, meanwhile.

The case showpiece was the new Level 20 Concept Design. Although it is just a concept for now, Thermaltake does plan to launch a new flagship case based on this design at some point next year. It has an all-aluminium core and three separate swing-out, 5mm tempered glass panels guarding the trio of chambers: one for the PSU and drives, one for the core hardware, and an extra one for showing off some custom water-cooling.
